I highly recommend these guys. I came in with a punctured tyre that just happened. The lovely guys took my vehicle straight in straight away to repair the puncture. Unfortunately, my tyre wasn't repairable, but the lovely guys at Cox took off my wheel and put my spare on free of charge to get me back on the road. Thank you for helping! I highly recommend Cox Auto for their exceptional service! After a costly experience at another service center, I sought a second opinion from Cox Auto for additional works that had been quoted. They provided a thorough inspection at no cost and found that only a seal replacement was needed, not a full diesel fuel line replacement. They also discovered a split driver's shaft missed by the previous center, saving us from potential major damage.
Cox Auto's quote was less than half of what we were previously quoted. They detailed our car, replaced the windscreen wipers, and provided a courtesy car, all at no charge. Thanks to Cox Auto, we went from thinking our 2014 Citroen C4 Grand Picasso was beyond repair to feeling confident in its future. We won’t go anywhere else for service!

Absolutely first class from booking my roadworthy inspection for a change of ownership a couple of weeks ago, to having the job carried out today with a promised time exceeding my request and expectation. Then I noticed the service reminder had popped up on the dash and as I was selling to a family friend, I really wanted the servicing to be spot on (even though the car has only travelled very low kms, but by time the service was coming due). The service advisors/managers said to leave the car with them and they would do their best to have this carried out. They contacted me a few hours later to confirm the service had been done and I collected the vehicle. The service books had been filled out and a detailed invoice was provided. I will definitely refer theses guys with 11/10 score and continue to use them as my “go to” in South Melbourne. Great experience all round! This was my first visit I should also mention and they were referred by the manager of a local auto business here.

Chris at Cox Auto did a great job of preparing my car for sale as part of the RWC inspection. Even though the car was a bit older and parts were sometimes difficult to come by, Chris searched high and low to make sure all the parts, were not only in great condition, but also affordable. Chris always presented me with at least two or more options with how to proceed with the repairs and kept me fully informed during the process. I had been searching for a reliable European car mechanic for some time and was left disappointed after trying a few options. Then I came across Cox Auto through their marketing, and I couldn’t be happier with their service. Their customer care and quality of work have been excellent, and their pricing is very reasonable.
I’ve taken my car to Audi Richmond in the past, but their focus seemed more on selling new cars than providing good service, and their customer service left a lot to be desired.
Cox Auto, on the other hand, have been genuine, professional, and trustworthy. I’d definitely recommend giving them a try.

I have struggled to find a reliable mechanic since moving to Melbourne at the beginning of 2024. What a pleasant surprise Cox Auto was.
Brought my C63s Cabriolet in for a Service B and they had it completely by 3pm, which is rare from the experiences I’ve had in Melbourne with other mechanics so far. The car drives like new, am actually shocked at the difference in how it drives and performs now, the price was fantastic and extremely fair and their communication was superb.
I’m extremely happy and satisfied with the service from Cox Auto, and it’s a huge relief now to finally have a proper mechanic who can take care of my AMG, and I will be only using them from now on to service my second car as well.
Cannot wait to book it in for its transmission service which they’ve already quoted me for, as it feels like a new car right now, can only imagine how it’ll feel once they do the transmission service on it!

We took my wife's Peugeot to Cox after having very negative experiences with 2 different dealer services departments. The team at Cox took the time and properly diagnosed the cause of the issues the car was experiencing and got the car running beautifully and reliably. So much so we took it back for the next logbook service.
The team kept us advised and informed before taking any action which is greatly appreciated and once again did great work.
The workshops are immaculate as are the amenities. Good Tradesmen look after their tools and keep a clean workspace and the guys at Cox are quality. Would highly recommend anyone to take their prestige or European vehicle there. Great Customer Service.

What a breath of fresh air. Previous dealings with a small mechanic who "specializes" in European cars have failed me previously. The guys at Cox Auto not only serviced, checked, and detailed any issues the car had, but they also did a full diagnostics of the previous issue the small mechanic tried to fix (for an extra fee - labour costs) AND cleaned/washed my car. Their expertise and accuracy are spot on, despite the little extra you pay in labour costs. Will definitely be coming back.

Cox had previously attended to a seized air conditioning compressor on my Alfa and discovered an electrical issue. On returning the car to them it was diagnosed and fixed promptly and to my complete satisfaction. They also serviced the car, checked all the brakes and suspension attending to some small issues.
I commend Cox and Andrew, particularly, for excellent customer service, promptness and complete openness.

I found Cox Auto to be accommodating, professional and upfront. I went to Cox Auto for a second option on an air conditioning issue on my VW Golf. I was put in an Uber home after dropping my car off, I was given 3 options to repair the issue, work was completed quickly, and my car was washed and presented back to me. It was nice to get some genuine good service. I was even given a YETI water bottle for Christmas. Cox have themselves a new customer.
